requirements that are set forth in the MI-TERT Bylaws and attached to this

 

letter.  Our agency is also a participating member of the Michigan Emergency

 

Management Assistance Compact (MEMAC), and have attached

MI-TERT Taskforce Members Requirements

Please check each requirement indicating that the employee meets or exceeds the requirement established by MI-TERT:

 

□  The employee has passed a criminal history background check performed by our agency.

□  The employee has the required vaccinations and core immunizations as recommended

    by the Centers for Disease Control.

□  Our agency is a participant with MEMAC.

□  The employee has a minimum of three years experience as a 911 communications  

    professional.

□  The employee has an excellent employment record maintaining an above average annual

    performance review with no chronic work problems.

□  The employee is adaptable, flexible and energetic.

□  The employee is an excellent multi-tasker.

□  The employee is a strong problem solver.

□  The employee is assertive in a positive manner.

□  The employee is an outstanding team player.

□  The employee has an excellent working knowledge of public safety emergency response

    operations and equipment as it relates to the TERT component they would fill.

□  The employee possesses positive interpersonal communication and leadership skills.

□   The employee possesses an ability to adapt and be flexible with different policies,

     procedures, equipment and geographic areas.

□  The employee possesses an ability to adapt to poor environmental conditions such as no

    beds, cold meals, no running water, etc.

□   The employee possesses excellent people and teamwork skills inclusive

     of cultural diversity.

□  The employee possesses excellent documentation skills.

□  The employee has the ability, willingness and availability to participate in deployments.

□  To the best of my knowledge, the employee does not have any health or medical conditions that would compromise  

        their ability to perform during deployment.  In addition, the employee does not possess a medical condition that could

       place a burden on the Team Leader or the requesting agency that may require them to return home

    prematurely.
